All Users Program locking up (follow up on previous question)?

Maybe I didn't give enough detail so here goes if anyone can help. I am running Windows XP. I have a Compaq Presario SR1426NX that is about 1-1/2 years old. There are no additional users set up for this computer and no passwords set up. When I open documents and settings it lists 3 files: ''All Users'' ''Compaq_Owner'' ''Owner''. I can get into the other 2 but when I open all users it locks up and I have to ctrl-alt-delete and end task to get out of it. I have my computer well protected with Norton Anti-Virus, Pest Patrol, and CWShredder and scan regularly. I ran into this problem trying to access the start menu in all users so I could remove some items (ie AIM) from starting up when I turn on the computer. Any suggestion on how I can rectify this? I would appreciate all answers.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html

The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
