my computer is down with this virus: nhatquanglan.xlphp.net/ lately. can anyone teach me how to reformat my hp laptop ,Compaq nx6120, as there is also some nonsensical messages continuing popping out whenever i open any website. is there free anti-virus for me to download to scan?

you need to have the Compaq operation system disks (back up disk) to perform this task.
You can try and using some anti virus software to scan. Maybe able to help you clean up the virus. then no need to reformat lor. Better get good antivirus cos those free one may not be as good. Try 88db website. I purchased my there recently. hope this helps :-)
