i wanna turn of my system resoter cuz im going to do a virus and anti spyware scan to see if they are hiding but im to scared that something will go wrong.I mean how will i turn it on?

If you right click My Computer and then Properties you can turn off System restore there. Once System Restore is turned off you get the option to start it again in the same place.

You should not have to shut anything off in order to do a full scan for virus and spyware. Your AV %26 SW suite will detect and isolate any known problems---%26gt; you can delete or quarantine from there.
