Recently there is a annoying website that always cause trouble to me. That website is http://www.69262.com/
This website will automatically change my homepage to this website and automatically install a annoying toolbar. I cant uninstall this toolbar cause it cant be found in add/remove program. And i tried to change my homepage back to yahoo.com but after a few minutes, it automatically change my homepage to thier website.
It is some sort of ad-ware. So I also scanned my pc with anti ad-ware program and anti virus program. But it seems to be useless.
Is there any ways to remove this thing manually???
Thx.
Ad-ware causing lots of problem. Need Help...?stinger
Use these scans to remove it, both are free and safe to use.
Spybot - Search %26 Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S%26D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.
