HUGE Virus Problem?

Hey everyone, I have a major virus problem. How this virus managed to slip by Avast, I don't know but It did. I know I have a virus because there are many major problems with my computer now.

These major problems include...

1)Almost a 4 times longer than usual startup time.

2)Xp Themes are disabled, and I'm left with the old Windows theme.

3)No sound whatsoever

4)System taskbar, and start menu are disabled.

5)System restore is disabled.

6) Widows installer is disabled (cant install .msi files)

7)Some of my anti-spyware/adware programs get locked by the system when I try to scan.

8)Nero is disabled, making it impossible to back up my media.

This is by far the WORST infection I've ever had. I would really like to save my computer/media, without having to do system restore. Any help would be appreciated.

Though most of my system tools are disabled I still do have these tools...

1)The internet

2) Avast(pretty useless)

3) A couple more useless spyware tools(Spybot, Ad-Aware, etc)
