Just recently, within the last few hours..I was trying to find some interesting tourist destinations in Latin/Central America. When I received so many hits/websites...I pushed a few...itneresting..but...when I pushed another website..BOOM...I received a message..and colors...and other things..which said, basically, "hacked by the Turkish Devils"...and it did look strange. So,,,,,,I do not know whether it was me who was hacked..or if it was the webpage that was hacked. I immeditaely hit one of my two anti virus programs...Bit Defender.....and after a detailed scan...it revealed nothing...I thien went to my PC tools spyware anti virus prgram and also.....after 1/2 hour...detailed scan..it revealed nothing? Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions????

Without running a detailed scan by another anit-virus or rootkit scanner, there is no way to be absolutely sure, but it sounds like it was the website. Keep an eye on things, if they look funny unplug from the net and do another deeper, more detailed scan.

It appears they did nothing to your PC, I would assume if they hacked your computer they would have done more than show a picture. Make sure your files are still intact. If you not missing anything you should be good. Back up your files, and restart your computer to see if you can anything suspect.
keep a close eye on ur computer ---- and to be sure i would post what happened to u on one of these sites ---- i looked on google but didn't have turkish devils--- u can run some root-kit programs and see what u come up with--- they might ask for u to run a highjackthis log to be safe
It sounds like it was the website.
